| Subject: Leveling Kits Needed with Lift Kits??? Tue Sep 18, 2007 12:54 am | |
| Hi,
I'm just starting the process of upgrading an '01 F350 SD Powerstroke. My first question is ....... is a 2" leveling kit still needed for a 6" lift? Or, will it become obsolete when putting on a lift? Thanks.

| The Donahoe 6 inch kit comes complete with everything to do it correctly and safely. 6" springs in the front, check it out at: http://www.sdhqoffroad.com/store/susp-dr-f99sd5.aspThere are also optional 6" springs for the rear. Call if you have more questions! 480-633-2929 | |

| thank jeff. was leaning more towards 37's or 38's on 20's, so it looks like the 8" kit is what I'll need. for this setup, would you also recomend a gear swap for something like 4:56? | |

| If you have stock 3:73 gears you can do 4:30 or 4:56 if you want a little bit more.I would only do the 4:56 with the 38s. | |

| Yes, changing axle gears is the only true way to get power to the ground. You can do engine mods all day long but changing gears is the only way to get your gear ratios back towards stock or slightly lower for more low end power. | |
